"We are taught by today's liturgy, that humility is strength in the eyes of God. Also, to be resolved not to betray Jesus' kingship over our lives and God's Love for us by indulging in sinfulness and finally, that the course of Christ is the course of every disciple."
Fr. Justin

Hancock County NST is working to resettle Ukrainian families to our area who have escaped the war with Russia. After much diplomatic red tape, our first family has arrived and there are more in the pipeline.
We are planning to teach them English and help them find jobs. In the meantime, they are in need of many items as they took very little with them when they fled.
They could use monetary assistance to purchase clothes, food, gas, and other household items. Please consider purchasing gift cards from Walmart, Hannaford, Shell, TJ Maxx, Reny's and other stores to donate. You may put the cards in the collection baskets, or give them to Fr Emile or Louise Soucy.

As a community of faith, we journey together to discover, follow, and share Christ with each person we encounter along the way. In both word and action, we are called to share our faith to make Jesus present to those who need to hear and see him the most. As a community of faith, we are called to be witnesses to the Gospel, changing individual hearts one at a time and transforming the communities where we live. This is our work, the work of our Church, made possible through your support.
